Signed Legends – Authentication & Verification Services
Effective Date: 10.14.2025

1. Scope of Services
Signed Legends provides authentication verification services for signed sports memorabilia based on internal records and confirmations from independent partner auction houses.
Signed Legends does not:
 

• Act as an auction house

• Guarantee resale value

• Guarantee future acceptance by third parties

• Provide investment advice

Authentication confirmation strictly relates to signature verification at the time of review.

2. Client Responsibility
The client agrees to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information, including:

• Full name

• Player name

• Identification number

• Supporting documentation if requested

Signed Legends shall not be liable for any verification errors resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent information submitted by the client.

3. No Guarantee of Market Value or Investment Performance
Authentication does not constitute:

• A guarantee of financial return

• A guarantee of appreciation

• A guarantee of liquidity or resale

• A guarantee of third-party recognition

Clients acknowledge that memorabilia markets fluctuate and assume full financial risk.

4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Signed Legends shall not be liable for:

• Direct or indirect financial losses

• Consequential damages

• Loss of business opportunity

• Reputation damage

• Market value depreciation

• Third-party disputes

Total liability, if any, shall be strictly limited to the amount paid for the specific verification service.

5. No Warranty
All services are provided “as is” without express or implied warranties, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability

• Fitness for a particular purpose

• Continuous availability

Signed Legends makes no guarantee that verification results will be accepted by all external parties.

6. Fraud & Misuse Protection
Any misuse of identification numbers, falsification of documents, or attempt to manipulate verification records will result in:

• Immediate service refusal

• Permanent blacklisting

• Potential legal action

Signed Legends reserves the right to retain records for legal defense.

7. No Refund Policy After Verification
Once a verification review has been conducted and confirmation issued, the service is deemed fulfilled.
No refund shall be granted after authentication review has been completed.

8. Force Majeure
Signed Legends shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to:

• Partner auction house delays

• Technical failures

• Cyber incidents

• Regulatory changes

• Events beyond reasonable control
   

9. Indemnification
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Signed Legends against:

• Claims from third parties

• Legal disputes related to ownership

• Fraud allegations

• Misuse of authentication confirmation
   

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law.
Any dispute shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of French courts.
